Family Camping Supplies - Terms & Conditions

Please read our terms and conditions carefully as they set out the terms under which the Family Camping Supplies web-site (operated by M Y Leisure Ltd) makes the products available to you. You, as the customer, will transact with M Y Leisure Ltd.

PRICES

The prices you pay for the goods ordered are as detailed on the web-site at the time of placing the order. All prices include relevant VAT unless otherwise stated. Prices do not include delivery charges. Prices may change but we do all we can to ensure our prices remain as competitive as possible.

AVAILABILITY

If for any reason we are unable to supply a particular item we will notify you as quickly as possible.

CONTRACT

There is no contract between you and us until payment for your goods has been authorised by your credit card provider or bank. At any point up until then we may decline to supply the goods to you without giving a reason. Once payment has been accepted a contract will be made between you and us. Payment will only be taken once we have allocated the goods for you - not before.

DELIVERY

Our standard delivery prices only include delivery to UK mainland address, for any other address please contact our customer service team to get confirmation that we can deliver the goods and obtain a delivery cost before placing your order. We endeavour to despatch all orders within 2-3 working days but should we envisage a delay of more than 7 working days we will contact you. The cost of standard 2-3 day delivery is £5 for orders under £150 and free on all orders above £150. Small orders are delivered by Royal Mail whilst larger orders are delivered by carrier and need to be signed for.

CANCELLATION

If you wish to cancel your order we need to know as soon as possible. If the goods have already been delivered to you, you may return them within 7 working days of the date of delivery in line with the distant selling directive. We reserve the right to charge you for any damage that may have occurred whilst the goods were in your possession. This does not affect your statutory rights.

RETURNS

If goods are faulty due to a manufacturing fault you may return them free of charge by contacting our customer service department. If you decide to return goods for any other reason you have 7 working days from receipt of your order to advice us that you wish to return the goods giving the reason for return. If you wish us to collect the goods we can arrange this but you will be charged with the on cost that we incur in so doing. Under the terms of the distant selling directive you have a duty of care for the product whilst it is in your possession, if the goods are damaged by you and subsequently returned in an unsaleable condition without the original packaging and labels intact no refund will be give. We will need you to include the original receipt with the returns. Your statutory rights are not affected. Once we have checked the goods and confirmed that they are in a saleable condition or have a manufacturers' fault we will refund you the full price of the goods you originally paid.

PAYMENT

You can pay by Switch, Maestro, Delta, Mastercard or Visa cards. Your card details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Authority for payment must be given at the time of ordering. You will only be charged once the goods are ready for despatch. All orders are placed via a secure server but if you prefer you can make payment by telephone by contacting our customer service team.

PRODUCT GUARANTEES

Most of our products carry a manufacturer's guarantee, which in most cases is a year but this is sometimes extended to 2 or 5 years, against failure due to defective workmanship or materials. The guarantee does not cover faults caused by accidents, neglect, misuse or general wear and tear of the product. Should a product become faulty during the guarantee period initially please contact our customer service team either by email or telephone and they will advise on the best course of action to be taken - we will need to see proof of purchase.

CONTENT AND ERRORS

Prices, specifications and descriptions are checked to the best of our ability and we make every effort to ensure they are as accurate and informative as possible but no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions. Any information displayed on our web site should not be regarded as authoritative or certified as the best practice and should be taken as useful supplementary advice only. We endeavour to keep all information regularly updated and reserve the right to alter prices and specifications without notice.

PRIVACY POLICY

You can browse our site without giving us any personal data. Any links to third party web sites are covered by their individual privacy policies. The personal information which we may collect to enable us to deal with your orders and provide you with the best service we can will include your name, address, telephone number, email address and any other details you give us, which concern you as an individual, may be processed both by us and by other companies within our group. Each of the companies authorized to process your information as mentioned above will do so in accordance with this privacy policy. All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

We do not automatically log personal data nor link information automatically logged by other means with personal data about specific individuals. Personal information is not shared or transferred to anyone outside our organization.

We will use your information for the purpose of fulfilling orders placed by you, processing any other transactions authorized or made by you with us, informing you of special offers and providing other marketing information to you that we think you may find of interest and undertaking product or customer research and development.

Individuals giving personal details or subscribing to our online newsletter do so with the understanding that they are aware of the intended purpose for the collection of data.

COMPLAINTS

Any complaint will be dealt with by our customer service department and we will try and resolve any problem with one week. If this time scale becomes unrealistic we will keep you informed of the progress and do every thing we can to ensure the complaint is sorted out to your satisfaction.

GENERAL

These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and any dispute will be decided only by the English and Welsh courts.

FORCE MAJEURE

We cannot be held liable for non performance of our obligations caused or resulting from industrial disputes or any other circumstances beyond reasonable control of the company such as acts of God including floods, fires, riots, civil unrest and legislation. If due to any such circumstances it becomes impossible within a reasonable time for the company to supply part or all of the items ordered then the customer's liability will be limited to the value of the items already supplied together with any associate delivery charges.

COMPETITIONS

Prize winners will be chosen at random unless specified otherwise in the Competition Notice, from all qualifying Entries within 10 days of the closing date specified in the Competition Notice. In all matters, our decision shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

Prizes are non–transferable and there is no cash alternative. We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.

Prizes are awarded at our discretion and no prizes will be awarded as a result of improper actions by or on behalf of any entrant.

Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity and we reserve the right to use the names and addresses of winners, their photographs and audio and/or visual recordings of them in any publicity.
